So, now I'm home. Well, I've been in Copenhagen for almost three months by now, but in the beginning it was more about finding my spot again than actually enjoying being home. But, here I am. My oh-so-sweet-and-missed friend found me a job before I even landed in DK, so that's what I'm doing these days. Besides being couple boring with my boyfriend and petting my new cat, Uno. She deserves a whole post for herself.
So that job, ha? It's as a waitress. On one hand it's driving me crazy, but on the other hand it's all about the money this year, and the money is good. Okay, I'll make a promise. From now on, I won't complain anymore. Uno just jumped up on my lap. She's the cutest! Ah, sidetrack.
So, what are my plans for the current school year, besides making money? Well, my current living situation is not the way it should be permanently. Emil and I live together with my mom (and Uno), and it's fine, but whenever we find something that fits our demands - we have a lot of those. The most important: they have to allow cats, and a balcony won't hurt either - we're gonna move. I have to select a study, too. Still thinking about political science or sociology, but I got more than half a year to decide, and that's a good thing! So, work, apartment and university - puuhh, it sounds so grown up!
In my spare time from all those quite demanding things going on in my head, I'm trying to live a healthy life - compensating for my American adventure, if you know what I mean ;-) So far I think I'm doing good. I'm working out at the gym four-five days a week, and I can already see results. Yesterday, Emil and I actually talked about our lifestyle. And by lifestyle, I mean eating habits. Both of us like a good meal, as in eating it but also preparing it. Starting today, we are gonna cut down on candy and cakes - it's been too easy to go down and mix a bag of our favorite candy. And I'm gonna start running again. I still have plans about running the half marathon in April, so I better start preparing for it. Now I said it out loud. On the biiiiiig internet. Now there's no going back. Good!
Well, Emil just woke up and I have a date with myself. A running date. And it starts in 10 min, so I better get dressed. This is fun! I'll see you soon!
